With this professional redundant telemetry radio set you can get Transparent Data Link / Mavlink Telemetry up to 250Km (LOS), prepared for all types of FPV or DIY projects, for Drone, UAV, USV, UGV, Robots….
Two different frequency bands can be used (according to standards and countries, you can only use different frequencies in a single band), for example (433Mhz and 915Mhz) or (903Mhz and 915Mhz), increasing security against interference if any and reflections of the RF signal.
Furthermore, if one of the two receivers or one of the two transmitters failed, it would not be noticed, link C2 would continue to operate.
Redundant mode: The TXDL1R-V2 internally contains 2 transmitters working in redundant mode and for the vehicle two RXDL1 receivers working in redundant mode are used, these will be connected through the “RCBUS2” port.
Normally the receivers are configured to use real-time redundancy, that is, if a single radio packet fails, the system corrects it packet by packet.
In the event of a failure of one of the two receivers, the system will continue to function the same, the pilot will not notice any failures.
On the ground: You have the TXDL1R-V2 redundant transmitter (TX1 & TX2), it can communicate with the Mission Planner software, QGroundControl or similar to a PC, Tablet, SmartPhone… via USB, (COM5) Serial TTL or Wifi.
On the Drone, UGV, USV…: You have two RXDL1 receivers (Redundant Mode), RX1 will be connected directly to any autopilot compatible with the mavlink protocol (Cube, Pixhawk, CUAV, APM, etc…) through the “TELEM1” telemetry port and from RXDL1 to “MODEM” port or TTL serial port (COM5) to send/receive transparent data. RX2 will be connected by port “RCBUS2” along with RX1 and if RX1’s packets fail then RX2 will immediately start working.
To obtain the maximum range of the system it is necessary to use a SATPRO tracker antenna.
