Of the XLRS series of Remote Controllers, XPAD1 is the smallest, lightest and very compact, designed with the latest XLRS system technology of 2023, its small size is ideal for short and medium range operations, 1.5″ TFT IPS color screen that shows information about the radio and the system in general, Mavlink / Data Link telemetry communication Transparent via USB (PC) or Wifi (Android, PC or similar devices) to connect with route software such as Mission Planner, QGroundControl or similar, duration of up to 10 hours.
It is the ideal option for those looking for a small, compact, powerful remote control that is easy to handle and store.
Perfect for short missions where portability, efficiency and robust radio link are a priority.
It can also be used as a mobile auxiliary control on a fixed GCS or on a portable GCSD4 or GCSD5 as an auxiliary controller for manual takeoffs or landings or auxiliary control for co-pilot or observer.
This case is an economical version of the XPAD1 without RF transmitter, only with Wi-Fi or wired with RCBus.
Formed by two modules, Small Remote Controller XPAD1 and Receiver RXLRS.
Is a professional system, compact design with personality and robust prepared to all types of applications with 1000mW RF max. Power and -116dBm of sensitivity with a maximum range of 250km.

In the center of the XPAD1 there is 1.5″ TFT color display that shows the current status of the system at all times.

It has several pre-configured screens that you can quickly change from the central encoder.
It also has several LEDs that indicate the status of some functions: Radio link, Radio, Wifi, Battery charging status, etc.
You can assign any (Buttons and Switches) to specific RC channels of the XLRS receiver which will allow you to completely customize your control experience, adapting it to your needs and preferences for each specific vehicle.
Customizable objects: 4 Buttons, 2 Switches with 2 positions, 1 Switch with 3 positions and 2 GamePad Joysticks.
*All the configurations are made in the receiver from the PC using the DMDStudio software, so the configuration of the assignments, mixtures, etc, are in each receiver (Vehicle), you can have several vehicles with different functions and use the same XPAD1 remote controller.
XPAD1 is small, robust and minimalist, it has the necessary buttons, switches and joysticks to implement them in different types of functions depending on the vehicle.
It has two miniJoysticks similar to those of gamepads, they are prepared to control any type of vehicle, such as drones or also cars, boats, robots, airplanes… that need progressive acceleration.
The box has an ergonomic design to fit correctly in the hands as it has two small grips on the sides.
The cover and back are made of 3mm aluminum painted in black epoxy, it also has some plastic and methacrylate parts.
XPAD1 Weight: 450g (With 5dBi omnidirectional antenna and without support).
It incorporates a 3.7V/5000mAh LiPo battery, which has a protection circuit to prevent over-consumption, low and high voltage, as well as charging current control.
Approximate duration of 10 hours of continuous use, you can also continue working with the XPAD1 while charging the battery with USB.

It is very easy to assemble and disassemble as it has a screw and can be quickly removed with your fingers without tools.

Using the XPAD1 Wi-Fi to send/receive Mavlink Telemetry data you can connect to any mapping software such as Mission Planner, QGround Control or similar from your device.

From the PC, Tablet or Smart Phone you can use any mapping software, that supports the Mavlink telemetry protocol, such as Mission Planner, QGroundControl, uGCS or similar, to be able to plot routes, establish waypoints and program specific tasks for your vehicle if you use an compatible autopilot (Cube, Pixhawk, APM or similar).
Connect the USB dongle of your RC simulator to the SPPM input of the XPAD1 to control up to 16 RC channels and simulate their operations with the XPAD1 controls.
