With the XLRSD5 and together with the analog or digital video system, you will be able to see the pilot’s or copilot’s camera (gimbal) at all times from the 17.3″ Main screen.

Ground Control Station D5 with integrated radio RF output from a single antenna.
You can use directional antennas with a tripod for a good range.
If you use directional antennas, they cannot be of much gain or the manual orientation of the antennas becomes very complicated, so the real working range is less than with a tracker antenna.
Useful for:
– Automatic flights without video with integrated RC control. Effective ranges of more 150km approx.
– Flights with analog video.
With a 23dBi parabolic antenna, it will have ranges of 100km approx.
GCSD5ST
Ground Control Station D5 and smart antenna tracker (SATPRO), RF diversity, it has more range and security.
The radio control and video system are integrated into the antennas and that improves performance.
The antenna tracking is automatic and the pilot can focus on other tasks. More info…
Useful for:
– Very long range automatic flights without video (250km or more LOS) with RC control.
– Manual or automatic flights with very long range analog video (100-200km).
– Automatic or manual flights with digital video up to 50Km (more range, please consult).
If you need to partially or fully fly NLOS, you can use XLRS repeaters in real time or add LTE or SATCOM (Iridium) radio modems to the XLRSD5 system if the delay of the RC control is not important. if you have questions please contact us. More info LOS-NLOS.

Remember: The two models use the same 6th Generation radio modem, the differences in ranges are due to the fact that one is diversity, the different combinations of antennas or utility and ease of use, so even with the same maximum radio range, in the practice changes the actual range of work. Design with character
SATPRO is very versatile with different accessories to use different antennas and even a mini weather station.
The suitcase GCSD5 contains a very complete Radio Control System with sensitive and professional RC joysticks, switches, buttons and specific instruments to show the necessary information of the D5 system at all times, it is prepared to carry out missions with aircraft or vehicles autonomous and / or manual.
The Radio Control is independent of the PC, this guarantees a high security in the system in case of possible breakdowns in the PC while carrying out a mission.
The electronics are designed and manufactured specifically for the functions of a Ground Control Station.
Special system functions
Control different UAVs without changing models
The XLRSD5 sends raw data from Joysticks, Encoders, Pots, Push Buttons, and Switches.
This, together with the fact that the receiver has its own mixes and adjustments, makes it possible, easy and safe to control different UAVs without the need to change the model as in amateur systems. There is no limit on the number of models.
The RF system has IP addressing (similar to ethernet) with 255 subnets and 255 UAVs per subnet.
Practice risk-free with the integrated Aerosim Simulator
Optionally you can use the Aerosim simulator on the GCSD5 to practice and have the XLRS system simulated even with real flight scenarios.
Pass control of the UAV between multiple pilots
The XLRS system allows passing control of the UAV between pilots in different locations with various base stations.
Telemetry reaches all pilots simultaneously as long as they are within the coverage radius or connected to the internet.
Planning software and creation of missions for autonomous vehicles
GCSD5 are compatible with any software for topographic missions, automated planning of missions with drones, mapping, routes, etc… that are compatible with the Mavlink protocol such as: Mission Planner, QgroundControl, UgCS…
By default the GCSD5 has Mission Planner installed but any other software you need can be installed.
Compatible with most autopilots
The XLRS_D5 system is compatible with autopilots using the Mavlink protocol such as: Pixhawk, PX4, Cube Orange, CUAV, Pix32, etc.
